XMas Bake Sales
During December 2014 we ran two bake sales in Bantry and in school. We spent a cold morning down on the market in Bantry town selling mince pies, apple cakes and buns. Although the day was cold, we managed to raise over €400!
The next week we ran a smaller bake sale in the school, with the help of TY students who baked for us, and sold everything from more mince pies to cupcakes. We raised more than planned, with over €150 being raised.
On Friday 30th January 2015 we plan to host a community social night in the Mealagh Valley Community Centre, with live music a sweet treats.
Musical Performances will include local musical talent as well as the odd dance! Looking forward to a great night of fun and craic and hope to see plenty of people there!
On Thursday 12th February we will be hosting a quiz night in the Mariner in Bantry town for the local people of Bantry. Night will include table quiz and raffle and will be a good bit of fun.
All ages are welcome, and teams of 4 may enter. Let us know if you want to join in on the fun!
